BCM Renovation

Istrouma Members are Busy Renovating LSU BCM
As a part of our local missions effort, IBC members have been joining with other mission volunteers from across the country in an effort to renovate the much needed Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) facilities at LSU. Many of you who have participated in mission activities at the facility in the past understand the great need for improvements to the buildings and furnishings. The facilities were constructed in 1951 with only minor maintenance done since that time. Once completed, the facility will help students from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the USA, and around the world learn about Christ and the love of fellow Christians.

Please join with us on Tuesday evenings at 5:30 as we continue our construction effort. A meal is served at 5:30 for the volunteers. You don't need any construction experience to help as there are many other simple tasks to perform. For additional information or to volunteer to help with this much needed mission effort, please contact IBC member Jim Baham at 588-0231(cell) or at 752-0024 (home).
