At first glance they may look like cute, long legged angel dolls with wings and no arms, discretely decorating a shelf. But to the recipient of one of these special Angel Dolls they are an ever present reminder that there are people praying for them in their hour of despair and that God has surely set His angels charge over His children to strengthen and protect them according to His written Word. |

Every month ladies from the Istrouma Women’s Angel Ministry (IAm) gather to cut, sew, stuff, and glue together special Angel Dolls. Each angel is different and unique; much like each person who has been selected to receive one is also divinely unique. The Angels Dolls are not for sale. They come from Love and with encouragement. As the ladies complete the construction of a number of Angel Dolls, they are brought before the Throne of God in prayer, with a request for Him to reveal to whom He would have them given as reminders of His love. Always the dolls are given to someone enduring a serious trial such as illness, death of a loved one, pain, loneliness, or other trying circumstances. |

Two-by-two the women whose hands have carefully constructed these Angel Dolls and whose hands have folded in prayer over them, now take them to specially selected people. The women lovingly present the gift to the recipient, praying with them and for them and letting them know that the doll is simply a reminder that after the visit is over and they have gone their separate ways, they are still in the hearts and prayers of the women of the Istrouma Angel Ministry, but more importantly it remains as a gentle reminder that the God of this universe is ever mindful of and present in their lives.
