From the very beginning, the vision for Istrouma Baptist has been to lead people to know the love of Christ. What started as a membership of only 16 has grown to a church of more than 3000. Time after time, generation after generation, God has provided for the Istrouma family.
While much has changed over Istrouma's 88-year existence, one thing remains the same: our commitment to drawing others to Christ and nurturing them in the Christian faith.
That commitment continues in this new construction project we are calling Generations: another opportunity for our church to take a bold step of faith, enabling us to maximize our potential for reaching people, both today and in generations to come.
Plans include brand new state-of-the-art facilities for children and preschoolers, a renovation of existing space to provide engaging space for students -- including a full-sized basketball court, an inviting commons area that our church members and community will utilize, and sports and recreation fields for kids of all ages.
