Our Purpose
Our vision for Istrouma Church is simple. We exist to Reach Up, Reach In, and Reach Out. These three are the biblical mandates of the local church. Up, In, and Out.
Reach Up
When we worship God, we express our love and devotion to Him. What an honor it is to humbly come before the Creator of the Universe. All of us are wired for worship, and the only way we can express true love to God and worship Him is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We worship with all of our life, and we work hard to provide an exciting and God-honoring environment for corporate worship through our Sunday morning worship services.
Reach In
We also exist to help you grow in spiritual maturity and in community with other believers. We help each other become full-court followers of Christ. Because the Christian life is one of constant growth and development, we are focused on teaching biblical principles in our small groups and equipping classes that can be applied to every day life.
Reach Out
Another key purpose of Istrouma is to reach out to people who are outside the family of God. Every day, we rub shoulders with people who are just an invitation away from a life-changing encounter with Christ. We reach out by serving, being involved in
missions, and inviting others to hear and understand what it means to be a follower of Christ.
